Job Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be deploying, testing, going live, and maintaining the system. You are passionate about understanding the business context for features built to drive better customer experience and adoption.

Responsibilities

• Running the product on production sites

• Making sure the internal infrastructure is working up to expectations

• Working alongside developers to debug systems along with providing operational assistance

• Manage product configurations

• Need to follow best practices for information security

• Build and manage scripts that will provide various degrees of functionality

• Handle the monitoring stack

• Able to operate Amazon Web Services cloud platform

• Experiment with new tools and standards

• Running the product on production sites

Requirements

• Experience in Linux

• Knowledge of Git

• Experience in scripting with Bash and/or Python

• Familiarity with monitoring tools

• Experience in Docker

• Experience in AWS, especially EC2 and S3

• Experience as a system administrator or in IT operations

• Experience in a CI/CD tool, e.g., Jenkins

• Experience in Linux

• Knowledge of Git

• Experience in scripting with Bash and/or Python

• Familiarity with monitoring tools

• Experience in Docker

• Experience in AWS, especially EC2 and S3

• Experience as a system administrator or in IT operations

• Experience in a CI/CD tool, e.g., Jenkins

Bonus

• Programming experience in Python or Golang or any other language

• Worked with Prometheus and Grafana monitoring tools

• Experience with Ansible

• QA/QC experience of cloud-based product/service
